While upwards of 70% of the coffee farming workforce is made up of women, only about 20% of coffee farms are LED by women/women owned. Thus making this female-owned coffee farm a FORCE OF NATURE in its inception, execution, and growth over the years. We are proud to release this single origin Guatemalan medium roast coffee from the La Morena Program which is designed to showcase female coffee farmers from the regions of Huehuetenango and Baja Verapaz. La Morena gives these female coffee growers the chance to have access to the global supply chain and to address the larger issue of gender inequality in the coffee industry.

The pour over grind is a bit too small, thus clogging the filter from draining smoothly-

Great Coffee! I ordered after I read about these guys in Jack Carr’s “Red Sky Mourning.” I decided to get the Force of Nature instead of the Stars and Stripes cause the tasting notes were more up my alley! DID NOT DISAPPOINT! I love the coffee. It tastes great and has a really wonderfully toasty roasty taste. Love also to support a veteran owned small business! I’ll get around to the Stars and Stripes roast eventually! Highly recommend Fortitude Coffee! Can’t also say enough about the customer service. My phone loaded my old address in when I purchased. One quick email and they were able to update my shipping address to the correct one!
